Following a recent independent audit, Ponting Wines was found to have met the rigorous national standards required for certification. It’s a moment of pride for our entire team - and a meaningful step forward in our commitment to sustainable winemaking.
Freshcare is one of Australia’s leading industry-developed certification programs for agriculture and wine. It sets nationally recognised standards for how vineyards and wineries should operate - covering everything from environmental sustainability and responsible water use to food safety, waste management and long-term land care.
To become certified, businesses must undergo an independent audit to ensure they meet these strict requirements. In short, it’s a trusted way of proving that the way we make our wine is as considered as the wine itself.
