BY HUON HOOKE - THE REAL REVIEW
Ponting Wines "The Pinnacle" Shiraz 2017
Deep red colour with a tint of purple. The bouquet is pleasant if not clearly defined, the palate chewy and firm, with grip and density. Earth, chocolate and toast characters. A full-bodied wine with plenty of grunt and heft for the price.

TOP VALUE recommendation from The Real Review.
Ponting Wines Review
Ponting Wines "Close of Play" Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Good depth of colour and a reserved, latent, rather brooding bouquet of a serious cabernet. Traces of raspberry and tomato bush, briar and underbrush. It's a light to medium-weight and soft, easy drinking, with mild tannins and balanced acidity. Forward and very approachable.

Ponting Wines "First Session" Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Cut-grass and green gerbiage aromas, some stalky notes. Clean and well-made. Crisp, tangy, dry palate, with lively acidity and some tension. Moderate length, clean and appetising finish. The acid draws the finish out.
